New design style

Someone said"Eddie's designs don't seem as fitting as gabi's so I decided I am going to do more styles that a lady can wear everywere more like my favorite brand Burberry's  designs like the one in this picture

but not exactly the same.

Today I am working on a winter collection based on Hermione Granger from Harry Potter the movies style like these two outfits

New Design Lines!

Eddie and I are working on new clothing lines! Eddie is currently working on a 1950's line with a little modern twist. Eddie is a big fan of Rita Hayworth, Lana Turner, and other famous pin-up girls. I am working on a Lady GaGa line. It's a bit crazy. I am a big fan of Lady GaGa. It goes to show you how different tastes in anything can affect what we create. We will post these on the blog as soon as they are finished because they are still in a work in progress. Keep checking back for more!

At Last!

At last, what you've all been waiting for: the carnivorous plant poll!  Yeah, yeah.  We know it's taken a while (a very LONG while) but they are here.  Vote, vote, vote.  Yes, Gabi keeps these at her house.  Eddie's design is based on a large pitcher plant.  Gabi's design is based on her favorite; venus fly traps.  In other words: VOTE, VOTE, VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE!

I got to thinking this morning about how Katy Perry is always dressed in 50's outfits so why can't we design them?

So, after science class we were learning about garbage and I started to think why not use trash for fashion like high heels made out of rootbeer bottles or crumpled up soda cans? What do you think? Why not right?

Exciting News!

Okay, so I was at the place where I get my hair cut and I was telling the person who cuts my hair about Eiress Fashion Co. and she said "you call me when your getting ready for first fashion show and I'll doe hair and makeup for free."

I have to agree with Gabi on inspiration I get inspiration from cows and Doctor Seuss characters, but here is the second hint flies.

Ever Wonder...

Ever wonder what goes through a designer's head when they design clothing, what their inspiration is? I used to. Here is your answer: anything and everything!! Eddie and I get inspirations from looking at random objects. I've even designed outfits based off of a towel and a paintbrush! That's not our weirdest though! We have some new sketches we are working on that are totally weird. I'm not sure Lady GaGa would wear them, but then again, she is known to surprise people. Keep an eye out for these new designs with a big bite (hint,hint!).

I would like to take this time to introduce our models here at Eiress Fashion Co. Here are their names Gabi, Olivia, Madeline, and Maura.

Leaders Unite!!!!

Seriously!!! Our school decided to participate in a leadership conference where the best leaders meet and talk about what they can use their leadership skills for. You had to fill out an application and have teacher recommendations. My math teacher actually told me that I should sign up because it was perfect for me. So, I did (not expecting much to come from it). They told us only four students would make it in.
I got the news the other day that I made it in!!! Only four students from our school!!! Its being held this weekend. Guess where it is and who's running it?! THOMAS JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOL FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!!!!! That is THE TOP high school in the United States!!!! Colleges will love to see that on an application and this could really help me start my own business. I'm really excited!! Eddie should apply next time. Its perfect for him, too! ;)
